Captain Jahara "FRANKY" Matisek, U.S. Air Force, is a senior pilot with experience in the C-17 and T-6, to include over 200 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) and has an M.P.A. and M.S. Capt Matisek is a Distinguished Graduate of Squadron Officer School and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Political Science at Northwestern University. His doctoral studies are sponsored by the Military & Strategic Studies Department at USAFA and he will be assigned to USAFA as an Assistant Professor following completion of his program.
