Captain Justin Lynch graduated the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Military History and commissioned as an infantry officer in the Army. He has served as a platoon leader in Afghanistan, a company executive officer in Iraq, an assistant operations officer, a company commander, and is currently the training officer at the Northern Warfare Training Center. He has written for Infantry, Cicero Magazine, Small Wars Journal, War Council and War on the Rocks. He is a member of the Military Writers Guild. Follow him at @jusroglynch.
